A Living Legend Lives No More Nov 30, 07 10:12 pm  By: Slade
Evel Knievel passed away today. It's hard to describe Evel to the kids of today. When I was a kid, he was larger than life. He was everything every boy aspires to be: a true daredevil. He's also the reason thousands of mothers refused to buy dirt bikes for their sons!

If Evel had set out to become a bull rider, I'm sure he would have been one of the greatest. He definitely had the mentality for it.

Evel was great! Especially the diamond encrusted walking stick that was full of Wild Turkey!

A true icon of the '70's. There is a movie about Evel that was made during his heyday. George Hamilton stars as EK. I bought it for $1 a few years ago.
