NFR 2011 Dec 23, 11 9:38 am  By: Slade
The stats for the 2011 NFR are up: HERE

A little NFR history on Probullstats...

We've got the past 14 NFRs recorded now, and in 2011 the most notable stat is that this is the first year that the number of sub 40 point outs has been greater than the number of 45+ point outs.

From 1998 through 2010, an average of 13.38% of the outs have resulted in bull scores below 40 points, while an average of 24.72% of the outs resulted in bull scores of 45 points or more. In 2011, these numbers flipped. 25.33% of this year's outs went to < 40 point bulls and 12% of the outs were marked 45 or more.

The 2011 NFR also set the high mark for the most RR options awarded with 14, surpassing 2006 and 2007 with 10 apiece.

There were an average of 51 qualified rides at the NFR in the years 1998 through 2010, and in 2011 there were 54.
