I think the reason that bull quality at CFD has improved over time is that weak bulls aren't as weak as they used to be. In the past, there have been plenty of bulls in the draw here that were mediocre at best, but the number of available bulls of decent quality in North America has increased to the point where it makes little sense to keep weak bulls around. If you look hard, you will find this situation hasn't discouraged some people from hauling them, but those kind of contractors are far fewer in number than they were 10 years ago.
