*Notes:
I had a call about this event - some of the bull riders were questioning the judging. It's hard to tell anything is strange about it. They did ride a larger percentage of bulls than at most events - 49% or so. The usual is around 30% ridden. So the judges did have more work to do here than at most places they probably go.
In the long go, I had sheets from Neufang(?) and Holgate, but Neufang's short go sheet was missing and instead I had the back judge's sheet - John South. Neither short go sheet had any buckoff markings; Holgate's didn't have any bull markings for qualified rides either and the only thing I see that's odd is that Tate Stratton was 86 in the short go and the back judge had him 44, and Thor Smith was 85 while the back judge had him 47 (23 on a 24). Wonder what the two side judges had those marked? Who knows.
Only one thing for sure - Gilbert will be happy about C15 getting 24-24 on that out. Has probably never been that high before. Should haul him to AZ more often.
