We've sorted bull riders by straight riding percentage, number of qualified rides, and
number of 85 & up scores. NFR qualifiers tend to be among the guys with the
highest number of qualified rides in a season. NFR High money winners tend to be among
the guys with the highest riding percentages. Or at least these have been
the trends in 2003 and 2004
PPO means Points Per Out - which is the sum total of points a particular contestant has
been awarded divided by the number of outs he shows. It's just another way of looking at
riding percentage that takes into account the actual scores. Higher scores = more PPO.
For the most part, guys who are dominating in straight riding percentage will be on top of the PPO
list as well
