Foltyn won $14,454 for winning both rounds and the average. Kimzey turned down a RR in the long round and ended up winning $3070 at the event for riding about well enough to win most practice pen jackpots.

Whether or not guys take a RR option has been a big subject of discussion around bull riding at times, but it's not really a big factor for Kimzey. Right now, Kimzey is riding ~69% of his bulls in the PRCA. If he continues to do that, he will win the world whether he takes any rerides or not. He's a big fish in a small pond. There just aren't a lot of guys who can stay on almost every bull they can be 79-83 points on, and Kimzey can. If you can win the world without really challenging yourself too much, that's one thing, but if you aren't staying on 7 of every 10, you'd best not take a pass on any second chances that come your way.
