The Century Club

Probullstats has been collecting data on bulls for 25 years now, and the oldest outs recorded are from 30 years ago. One thing that has surprised me in that time is how many bulls are here today, gone tomorrow, at least at professional level events. Fewer than half the bulls that appear on Probullstats go on to reach 5 outs in the PRCA / PBR.

At the other end of the spectrum there are some campaigners who truly make a mark on the sport. As of today 51,992 different bulls have seen action at pro events. One of those bulls recently reached a rare milestone, and two more are on the cusp of it. Only 90 bulls - 1/10th of one percent - have made it to 100 recorded attempts. For the record, Pandora's Box has the most with 162. He last saw action in 2009.

-51 Skeeter Peter logged his 100th career out Just a couple of weeks ago at a PRCA Rodeo in Wharton, TX. He's been hauled by Chad Berger for most of his career, but he was originally bred and raised by B.J. & Tara Tolman at Rockin T Ranch & Rodeo Genetics. Skeeter Peter has been a solid money bull for a long time. He hasn't won any awards, but he's carried riders to a lot of paydays. Bulls like this have long been the backbone of the game, and this one has been to war against the best riders around for a long time.

43C- Chiseled (Page / Flinn) is currently sitting at 99 career attempts and should get his 100th this year. Chiseled is one of the most decorated bulls in history, an ABBI Classic Champion and PRCA Bull of the Year, he's been the NFR 4 times and the PBR Finals 6 times. He's been ridden 31 times and 21 of those were for 90+ points. He's been in the spotlight a lot. Chiseled is reaching the end of his career, but he's not done yet, and is likely to get his 100th out before the end of the 2024 season.

500 I'm Legit Too is also at 99 career outs and is likely to make it to 100 at or before the PBR World Finals in May. He's a special animal for several reasons. He's an Oklahoma bull with a California genetic heritage. His sire is out of Don Kish's bloodline. He also had an impressive career in ABBI competition from age 2 through 4. He was a contender for every ABBI age title group he competed in. He was raised by Lance Bloyd - Bloyd Land and Cattle, was handled by Cord McCoy in his younger days and currently hauled by Hart Cattle Co partnered with David Hale. I'm Legit Too is one of the most consistent bulls ever. He's produced more 90+ point rides than Chiseled and has never taken a day off. He is a pattern spinner who rarely deviates from his plan of going wide open to the left, and he's as good at it as any bull who has ever lived.

I don't always have time to commemorate these things, but bulls reaching this level of greatness certainly deserve it. Keep your eye out for these legends as you watch upcoming events.
